  A huge shout out to McDonald's 10011 Danwadele a McDonald's restaurant in Baton Rouge. The Friday before Good Friday, during Lent, they obliged by making the urban legend, the Grand Mariner. Thank you to the ultra awesome clerk who assisted with this order! From what I’ve been told, it’s a filet of fish, but instead of the standard filet of fish bun, it’s served on a Big Mac bun with 2 fish patties. Tartar sauce instead of Big Mac sauce. Pickles lettuce and cheese as well. Not only that, but insider information reports that the original recipe included celery salt. So I brought some. Enjoy the pics. It was a freshly prepared sandwich and was worth the calories to bring the nostalgic kitchen folklore which McDonald’s lovers talk about to real life. McDonald’s has a long history here in Baton Rouge. Doing stuff like this is much appreciated. They have had other menu hacks which are very cool also. Double quarter pounder with Big Mac sauce done (Double quarter pounder done in Big Mac style) etc

  3-28-26 Showed up 0120am. Ladies working the drive through were incredibly rude and impatient. Fussed at us that only available items would be fried foods. Ordered nuggets and mc chicken since there was no other choice. Fries were about 24 hours old and stale it seemed. Nuggets and mc chicken were fried to a black crisp. Obviously all of this was done out of spite for showing up so late. I apologies we were traveling and just looking for something that was open. We were starving and ended up just throwing the food out it was so bad. Wasted 23 dollars and were left on the road starving still. I understand it was late and employees may be frustrated but this was unnecessary they don’t understand everyone’s situation.

  I have given this McDonald's chance after chance, and I've finally had it. Why is it when I get to the second window, they never know what I ordered??? It's so rude to just yell "WHAT YOU HAVE?!" Is there no communication between the two?? I even gave them my receipt and they STILL forgot an item.

  Nobody should ever visit this location. The absolute worst Mcdonalds I have ever been to. I had to wait 30 minutes in a filthy lobby to get 2 burgers, fries, a shamrock oreo McFlurry, and a shamrock shake. The entire time the staff was swearing and yelling at each other, which was funny at first, but then I realized it's because they have no idea what they are doing. I went up to the worker and asked what the status was on my order. He said "oh it's going to be a while." That's it. I asked "why?" He responded "because there's a lot of door dash orders in front of you." This was after 20 minutes! Finally we got our food, and we were not given our oreo shamrock McFlurry. The worker said "we don't sell that." HOW!? It was on your menu! I said I needed a refund, and they were dumbfounded. As if they are clueless that people want a refund for items they don't receive. Finally we ate, and we couldn't even finish it. The fries were the worst I've ever had at any McDonalds location (burnt), the Big Mac was drowning in sauce, and I found what looked like a curly pubic hair in my fries. I wanted to vomit.
