It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Great location if you want to wait 30+ minutes for 2 meals (2 burgers, 2 fries, 2 drinks). Utterly ridiculous. Management should be fired for letting this become the NORMAL experience

    Good burgers and okay service, but I was very concerned as to why our milkshakes were WARM and soupy :( very sad, definitely not worth the $25 for two meals

    Took a chance and tried it for the first time. And it's my last. When thru drive-thru for lunch. Ordered a avocado bacon burger, without tomatoes or onions. Waited a good 15+ minutes in the drive-thru line. Got back to the office to learn that they put tomatoes and onions on my burger. Well I only ate fries for lunch today. Those were good.
