I found everything on my list, appreciate cost per ounce listed on price signage. I wish self-checkout had been available.

When I lived in Seattle, I used to love Albertsons not quite as good as Whole Foods or QFC but a very solid grocery store. Stopped in the one here in Baton Rouge and it’s amazing how different it was from heyday. Albertsons I remember we’re nice clean wall stock and the staff was always moving. here almost everyone is sitting around. I counted nine that we’re doing nothing and if you ask them a question it’s like interrupting them from their morning Siesta. I kind of think Albertson will probably go the way of Winn-Dixie and others chain stores that didn’t keep up with the times

Visited this Albertsons on December 31, 2025, and it was one of the worst grocery experiences I’ve had. The restrooms were absolutely disgusting — urine on the floors, overpowering bad smells, and clearly not cleaned for a very long time. This is a serious health issue in a food store. A pregnant customer had to wait an excessive amount of time, and I saw multiple people (including another customer who openly said they were leaving to shop at a different store) abandon their carts and walk out without buying anything due to the long line for the only restroom open that was decently clean (the other was covered in urine), despite the ceiling tiles being moved around with blood spatters all over the ceiling. This level of poor maintenance and understaffing is unacceptable. Albertsons needs to address cleaning standards and staffing immediately.

Prices are decent, but do not buy meat or vegetables here. Numerous occasions we have gone to this location and bought packaged meat products ( lamb shanks, preseasoned chicken, etc) and the meat was rancid within two days of purchase, regardless of the best buy and packaging dates. Vegetables are hit or miss on availability, and you have to carefully go over everything to check for mold and spoilage.
