Ordered a taco salad plus other items, to go. Cashier was pleasant. No spicy nuggets were ready so we were told it would be a 4 minute wait. That expanded to about a 10 minute wait - not really a problem for us. Got back on the road and began eating my taco salad - discovered a slimy item in the salad. Upon inspection - it was a worm. Needless to say, threw the salad away and called the store. The employee who answered said she would report my issue to the GM. I suggested they pull all their lettuce off the line, but no idea if this happened. Sadly, we stop at Wendy’s often when on the road, but this particular Wendy’s (469 West Hwy 92, Williamsburg, KY) will not be frequented again. Oh, and I was not asked my name, phone #, etc., so I assume there will be no compensation for the wormy salad.

PLEASE can somebody from this Wendy’s location read this review and FIX THINGS??? I’m not one to complain much, I get it if someone’s just having a rough day and a mistake is made every once in a while, we’re only human, I get it. My problem is nearly EVERY TIME I go to this Wendy’s there is always something missing from my bag, and I don’t even order much at all. Today I ordered a nugget combo, get all the way home and no fries! I didn’t notice due to my screaming kid in the car, so there’s that. Previously I’d have the issue of no sauces in the bag, missing sides, or the time I ordered a cookie as a little treat and they forgot that too!! Can I please, for the love of god, get my money’s worth here?? And no, I am not driving all the freaking way back across town to obtain some fries bc honestly it’s not worth the gas. Just PLEASE CHECK THE FREAKING BAGS BEFORE YOU HAND THEM TO YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS. Holy cow. Coming from somebody with a rich background in the food industry, it’s common sense to always MAKE SURE THE ORDER IS CORRECT. It literally takes two seconds, guys. This is such a constant reoccurrence. Do we just not care? Does management not remind people “hey nuggets usually have sauce AND fries with the combo”, or what? I’ve called the store before about this issue, I just don’t respect paying for something and not receiving what I paid for. Please. Times are tough as is, money is tight for folks, so please put THE WHOLE ORDER in the freaking bag and not half of it. That’s all I’m asking. I don’t want a coupon nor a refund or a replacement etc. I’m simply asking for Wendy’s to get a little competence and just make sure the order is complete as it should be. If this review steps on someone’s toes and pisses them off a little, I genuinely do not care. That’s the point of reviews. Please, do better for the sake of the people of Williamsburg who barely have any options for fast food in this town as is. End of rant.
