  So anyone that lives in Belfry or South Williamson KY, this review is gonna be mainly for you. I went to Dairy Queen in South Williamson today and it was really an eye opening experience. I ordered a chili cheese dog and a blizzard. I pull up to the window and they give me the hot dog and tell me to pull up towards the curb and they would bring my blizzard out in a few minutes. I waited about 10 minutes and a boy come to my window and asked if I had a brownie blizzard and I told him no. He then walked off. I waited probably 5-8 more minutes and I decided I was going to pull around front and go in to ask for a refund because several people behind me had gotten their ice creams and I watched inside the window and saw people inside getting theirs. Soon as a I pull around front and go to get out of my vehicle, a boy is dashing towards my vehicle with the blizzard. I stop him and say no, I want a refund and explained how long I had been waiting. He told me I would have to go inside so I did. A girl then approached the counter and asked what I wanted. I told her I wanted a refund and then explained the entire situation. She told me that they dont really do refunds but could get me something else. I said I don't want anything else I want a refund. She then says that they are just really busy (they had normal business). I told her I could get being busy but, when im waiting nearly 20 minutes for a blizzard and several cars behind me and people inside the restaurant was getting their ice creams, there was no reason I could not have gotten mine. She then tells me if she gives me a refund that she will have throw away the blizzard. So now we have a conditional refund being offered. We will give you a refund but your gonna lose the ice cream. I told her I did not care anymore that I wanted my refund so I could just get out of there. She then took the blizzard, threw it down in the trash and gave me a refund on the ice cream. I said have a good day and she just walked off. Now obviously, I am not a business owner, but how is this a sustainable model for repeat business? How did that rectify and address the issue? If you go to Dairy Queen, be expecting that if you get a wrong order or poor service, they will try and discourage you from a refund and they certainly will not address any issues or take accountability. I would not recommend going there, go elsewhere. If you want ice cream, go to the store, dont put up with that. These fast food restaurants are getting really bad and honestly we are living in a time you really dont know whats in the food anyways. So that coupled with poor customer service and attitude, I would recommend steering clear and go elsewhere. 1/10 experience.

  It would be nice if the managers and employees had even an ounce of customer service skills or even if they could do their job correctly. I love Dairy Queens food but anytime I go to this location I am met with rude employees, incorrect food, and an overall poor experience. Call me disappointed yet again.

  We walked in to buy an ice cream and an ice cream cake at 2:13pm we had to stand at the register for 5 minutes before anyone actually walked up to the counter and took our order…it is now 2:27 pm and we are still waiting on a small blizzard… update we finally got the small blizzard at 2:34 pm

  I placed an order for an ice cream cake earlier in the week with specific instructions, and when I arrived to pick it up, I was told it hadn’t even been made. The staff explained that their cake maker is only in once a week—which is something they should have mentioned when I placed the order. Instead, I wasted my time and left without the cake I needed. Very disappointing and unprofessional. If a location can’t fulfill cake orders reliably, they shouldn’t be taking them in the first place.
