I arrived at this Outback Steakhouse a mere mortal—hungry, hopeful, and unaware that my evening was about to become a permanent landmark in the cartography of my soul. From the threshold onward, the establishment radiated a benevolent warmth, as though the walls themselves leaned inward to whisper, “Rest now, traveler. You have chosen wisely.” The air was perfumed with the noble incense of seared beef and ambition. The lighting—neither harsh nor apologetic—bathed the room in a golden hue befitting a hall where legends are forged, not merely dinners served. Presiding over this temple of sustenance was Hunter, the manager, a man who carries himself with the calm authority of a sea captain who has never once lost a ship, a crew, or a table’s trust. His presence alone elevated the evening; one senses immediately that chaos does not occur under his watch—only a fragile illusion that excellence is effortless. And then… the burger arrived. Reader, I must speak plainly, for exaggeration feels unnecessary in the face of such truth. This was not a burger. This was a thesis statement. The bun—oh, the bun—pillowy yet resolute, embracing the contents with the gentle confidence of something that knows it was lightly toasted for this moment. The patty, impossibly juicy, bore the perfect char: a smoky, caramelized crust giving way to a center so tender it seemed to sigh under the weight of my expectations—and then exceed them. Each bite unfolded in chapters: first the richness, then the savory depth, then the subtle seasoning that whispered rather than shouted, like a well-educated aristocrat at a dinner party. The toppings were not mere accompaniments; they were collaborators. They understood their role. Nothing jostled for attention. Nothing overstayed its welcome. This burger was balanced, poised, and emotionally supportive. Time slowed. Conversations faded. I chewed with reverence. When at last the plate lay empty, I experienced that rare and sacred silence that follows perfection—the kind where one does not speak because there is nothing left to improve. I left Outback Steakhouse changed. Lighter in spirit. Heavier in conviction. Certain that somewhere, in a kitchen governed by competence and care, greatness is not accidental—it is managed. If you are hungry, go. If you are curious, go. If you have ever wondered whether a burger could briefly, powerfully convince you that the world is still doing some things exactly right—go immediately.

We drive from Corbin, KY to Richmond sometimes to eat at this outback steakhouse because it's the closest. Always have really good food, really good service, and the place is always clean and peaceful. Honestly, this is our favorite outback to go to. We usually went to Lexington. As far as me and my husband are concerned we'll always go to this.

Ribeye and loaded baked potato were hot, cooked to medium well. Server was friendly and attentive. My Cobb salad was also delicious! For dessert we had something down under. I can't remember the exact name, but it was a brownie, ice cream, chocolate sauce, and whipped topping. It was also delicious!

This is the 3rd time we have eaten at this Outback. We are a very unpicky family of 4. Out appetizer trio was gross. The blooming onion was just broken pieces of batter and the mozzarella sticks tasted like chemicals. My daughter got a side of Mac and cheese and the noodles were hard. My burger was WAY over seasoned. My wife didn’t eat her under cooked pasta and under cooked broccoli. My youngest said her chicken and fries were good. Not going back for a long time

Giving it 1 star because scheduled a company party there and they had us pick where we would like to sit a week in advance. On the day of party they gave our tables away to another party and thought it would be ok to sit us at multiple tables not connected. Talked to manager and said they were about to leave and they haven't even ordered. Understand can't kick them out but should told them you have 1 hour there or wait for another seating or dont make reservations and have us choose seats. Absolutely wouldn't every have another company event there or would tell any other company not to choose them. They advertise about catering and company events but can't keep there promise. Worse thing when trying to reward company employees and family for hard work. Rather go to McDonald's for that kind of treatment for 1000 bill.
