  Since opening in Owensboro, I’ve visited probably 10 times, (Avid coffee drinker,) I LOVE the coffee, they certainly have espresso quality and flavors down perfectly! I appreciate that none of the drinks prepared are ever too sweet like other coffee joints. The staff is friendly and conversational! I do wish they would speed up the process though. It seems to be chaos inside but still long wait times every time. I’m sure this will resolve once they get settled! Fantastic coffee. Try the hazelnut truffle mocha!

  I placed an order on the app so I could just swing by there real quick like, because I was in a hurry. I pulled into the drive thru and they were only taking orders at the pick up window. So they were taking orders at the window, making the order, and handing out the order before they could go to the next vehicle. Also, the way the drive thru is setup you can't pull out of line. 45 minutes later I finally got to the window to pick up my drinks that I pre ordered on the app. When I got my drink all the ice was already melted in my ice coffee, so basically I got a water down coffee mess. I asked the lady at the window why they was taking orders at the menu board in the back of the building like they are supposed to and she told me the reason was it is cold outside. So pretty much if it is cold outside go to 7 Brew just a mile south of here to get your coffee. The drinks are just as good, if not better and they will take your order even when it is cold outside.

  I visited the Dutch Bros location in Owensboro, KY today. While the employee who helped me at the window provided excellent customer service, the overall experience was extremely frustrating. When I entered the drive-thru, there were 10 cars ahead of me, and it took over an hour to reach the window to order. I was told that because it was too cold, staff were not coming outside to take orders and that all orders were being handled at the front window. As a result, the line moved at an unreasonably slow pace. Once in line, customers are completely trapped with no way to exit, which made the hour-long wait even more frustrating. Because of this experience, I will not be returning, which is disappointing, especially for a new business in town. That said, I’m sharing this feedback to be helpful — not hostile — in hopes it reaches upper management and leads to operational changes that improve the experience for future customers. The issue appears to be procedural, not related to staff attitude. I hope this is addressed so other customers don’t have the same experience. We see startups open and close very quickly because of issues like this and I hate to see one with so much potential fail because of something that can be fixed with a coat.

  My husband there today and was told by an employee that his money was fake. So he went to his bank a block away to verify if it was fake or not. The bank verified that it was in fact real. He went back to address the situation with the manager. Either the situation wasn’t clicking in her head or she didn’t care when he told her he believes their counterfeit verifier is broken. This was our 1st and last visit to this establishment.

  Me and my mom went to Dutch Bros for the first time yesterday! We have both found our new favorite coffee shop in Owensboro! Highly recommend the frosted gingerbread iced latte!! It was so good!!! Staff were all very friendly!! Tens all across the board from me and my mom! Also love the fact that when you download the app and create an account you can get one free medium drink for signing up!!! Who doesn’t love free coffee?!?!? 🤌🏻
