Very charming restaurant. We had great service on our trip. Only issue was the calamari was really chewy. I've had calamari at several restaurants and this was overcooked chewy texture instead of the normal texture associated with properly cook cephelopd.
Flatbreat was great and thier dinners were huge.

When I first walked into Brio Italian Grille, I immediately noticed the spacious entryway, which provides plenty of room for parties waiting to be seated. The restaurant itself is tastefully decorated, featuring high ceilings, large modern chandeliers, and a contemporary Italian atmosphere that feels upscale without being over the top.
The host was friendly and welcoming. I had a reservation, though it didn’t seem strictly necessary, as there were quite a few open tables at the time.
One thing that stood out was the noise level. Even with only about half the restaurant occupied, it was surprisingly loud. Considering the nearby Levee and traffic, I actually think the patio might have been a quieter and more enjoyable option, depending on your preference.
My server, Lily, was attentive and accommodating throughout the meal. She checked in frequently without being intrusive, brought water right away, and served bread promptly after I placed my order.
For my meal, I ordered the shrimp and scallops risotto along with a bowl of lobster bisque. The lobster bisque was a highlight—rich, creamy, and full of flavor, with the lobster really shining through.
The shrimp and scallops risotto was also quite rich, with well-seasoned seafood that was cooked properly. However, the presentation felt a bit underwhelming, and the dish didn’t quite match my expectations. While it would definitely satisfy someone looking for a comforting, hearty option, it’s not something I would personally order again.
Overall, I had a good experience. The service was excellent, and the food was enjoyable, though perhaps a bit pricey for what it was. I would return and would be interested in trying some of their more popular dishes next time.

Would not go here. They take advantage of young girls. My daughter and her friends went there a MONTH ago, she was double charged on her bill. They REFUSE to give her back her money. It has been a month! This place will steal from you! I have talked Nate the manager there 3 different times. My wife has talked to him multiple times. Still no money back. I keep getting the run around where the money is. Dont know what else to do. Beware they WILL steal from you! Nate, your horrible

We had called ahead and told them we were celebrating a recent engagement and asked to be put in a corner table and to possibly have a desert brought out with a decoration or candle or something like restaurants usually do for birthdays.
Daniel on the phone was very accommodating and said he’d be able to do that for our party. When we arrived they had clearly not passed notes to wherever was working and they had no idea what we had requested. We explained everything again and they put us into a corner table but had to move things around. The more annoying part was that they completely forgot to bring out any desert or do anything even remotely special, even after multiple mentions of the engagement and the celebration. The table next to ours was celebrating a birthday and they brought out a piece of cake for them. We didn’t even want anything for free, just like some sort of whatever special thing they do for events.
Finally the food was mediocre at best. The chicken Marsala is dry, the sauce is way to sweet, taste like it was grilled chicken with balsamic drenched on it. The lasagne was bland.
Our server was nice, she did a good job helping us out, still baffled that not a single person tried helping us accommodate something special for a newly engaged couple after repeated mentions of it

I have been debating writing this review for days as I know bad reviews leave a sour taste in others mouths when deciding where to go out for a special occasion. However, this has been on my mind since it happened. We had came in with a party of 11 people on Thursday, Robyn was SPECTACULAR, paid very close attention to detail, was extremely sweet (looking at others reviews I see she’s this great with every table she has)
- you could tell something was weighing on her. I soon realized what that was. I had an issue with the food. I had ravioli dibello and a chicken spinach fettuccine chef Mike was very rude, he proceeded to tell us to leave a bad review on Robyn. Robyn was not the problem at all. She went above and beyond for our party & was very respectful. It genuinely seemed like he had it out for her. I’ve worked in the restaurant business for 10+ years and none of my coworkers would EVER suggest to a customer to leave a bad review about a coworker as that reflects bad on the business. I will definitely be back & requesting Robyn as our server. Her personality & great service is the only reason we will continue to come back.
