This experience was unacceptable and reflects serious issues with how this location is managed.
I placed a delivery order through the Tropical Smoothie website, tipped the driver, and after payment, the order abruptly switched to pickup. No explanation, no correction, and no functional support from the 1‑800 number or the app.
The website states that the store handles refunds directly, so I called. The young employee who answered demonstrated a clear lack of basic workplace manners and professionalism. She told me the manager is “never really around,” refused to assist over the phone, and insisted I come in person—despite the fact that I explained I don’t have a car, which is the entire reason I ordered delivery. I had the order number ready. A refund could have been processed in minutes.
She refused to take my number for the manager, refused to escalate the issue, and told me to “call back in an hour.” The dismissive tone and unwillingness to help were unnecessary and concerning for a business that relies on customer service.
Now I’m out the money, and the food, and the store’s response made it clear that resolving a simple issue is apparently too much to expect. As someone who has worked in the food industry, I know exactly how easy this should have been.
The fact that something this simple turned into an ordeal is honestly ridiculous. I never leave reviews, but this situation was handled so poorly that it needed to be said.

The service was horrible. The male employee was not even aware or familiar with his own menu. We placed an online order & it was not prepared or even in process of being prepared, when we arrived. He questioned me, rudely tapping the receipt in my face, asking me what the item was (clearly described on the actual receipt) printed from HIS printer. I picked up a menu & had to show him on HIS menu, what the item was, before he could begin to make the order. He was so confused & even told me to look on an (empty) shelf for my order. I was not the only customer that was having issues with their orders that day. 1st last visit to this location. Learn your menu Sir ... Do better Tropical Smoothie, Do better ...

Made an online order. When I arrived, employee agressively held my receipt to my face demanding I explain what the product I ordered (through THEIR online store) was. Other employees came out to theoretically assist, and were also totally lost until *I* had to open the menu that was between myself and them and point to where it was on THEIR menu so that they'd actually know the ingredients and become capable of making my order. Could you imagine ordering a Big Mac and then the McDonald's employee asks YOU "a big what? What comes on that?" And you then have to open the resource directly infront of them and show them to get your sandwich.

Don’t come here! Customer Service is horrible. Hot Food is not good at all. You will be disappointed. Don’t say nobody warned you.
