- JBJade BassNov 22, 20251.0I just want to start off by saying I love Wingstop and its been mine and my husband favorite game day meal for years but today was probably the worst, shadiest service I had ever gotten. I was very hungover all day so I sent my husband inside to get my online order of 20 wings while I waited in the car. He ate his 10 and I put mine in the fridge for later when I felt better. Day goes by and I am finally able to hold down some food so I pull out my unopened box and there was only 5 in the box. I was in tears as I had not eaten all day and of course my husband was furious because I was so upset. He walks in there and talks to the manager who says shes only been there for 3 weeks and is trying to "fix" the place. Well during the conversation my husband agrees to pay for an additional 10 wings with 5 extra seeing as I was shorted and he was hungry again so he didn't mind paying for more. I open the box and there's STILL ONLY 10 WINGS and I still don't have the 5 remaining wings that I paid for earlier. The manager talked my husband into buying MORE wings with the promise of making our order right and she lied to him. I'm so pissed and the next time I go to Wingstop I will not be choosing this location.

However, Wingstop has a full-time staff of wing experts who we rely on to generate new ideas for our brand and our fans. Not that your ideas are unworthy, but you don't want to put the team out of a job. And our lawyers tell us that we need to avoid unsolicited ideas because we don't want to have any dispute as to ownership of those great ideas. Below is more legal mumbo jumbo explaining our policy.
UNSOLICITED IDEAS
Customers of Wingstop may have the perfect idea for a new concept, and we may be missing out on an exciting opportunity, but ownership and protection must be considered. Wingstop maintains a policy that does not permit it or its employees to accept any unsolicited ideas from outside sources (fans and other third parties).
Wingstop strives to innovate and create through internal business departments and their employees. With this in mind, if we create a new concept through our internal experts, and a talented customer/fan submits a substantially similar idea, determining who the originator of the wing-tastic idea is would be a challenge. To better protect ourselves as well as all of our fans out there, we must adhere to this strict policy which does not permit the review, consideration, or acceptance of such ideas from outside parties to avoid any confusion of ownership. Therefore, we encourage you not to send us unsolicited ideas.
TERMS GOVERNING SUBMISSIONS
If you nevertheless insist on sending us your unsolicited ideas, the following conditions apply:
Wingstop shall have no obligations concerning the submissions, including no obligation to review the submissions, return any materials, or acknowledge receipt of the submissions.
All submissions will be deleted from working files within Wingstop and no response will be delivered to confirm receipt of any submissions.
Due to archiving requirements, your email may be retained on our system, but please understand this is not an effort to keep record of our customers' great ideas; rather, it is incidental to archiving.
