  We ordered online and picked up our meals. Food was ready as requested and the service was excellent! The meatloaf was absolutely incredible! And the cheese grits and collard greens were second to none! We will definitely return the next time we are in Louisville!

  My family had a great experience here in this gem of Old Louisville. Everyone was raving about their meal. The smoked meats are the star of the show but all of the sides and starters were amazing as well. The staff was friendly and the prices were very reasonable.

  Food was super bland no flavor at all. The catfish was overly crispy and it felt like I was chewing rocks. They also forgot my fries. The shrimp and grits is an extremely small portion. I think it has a cute atmosphere and the service was decent but the food was horrible. Pick your poison.

  Atmosphere was very down to earth. Fried Green Tomatoes were amazing, and the food was great. I had the Ribeye and it was perfectly seasoned. My son who typically only ever eats hamburgers got chicken tenders and I stole one and they were great. I didn't steal any of the hubs food (he had smoked chicken) but it smelled amazing. They were giving away free smells in the parking lot.

  Excellent service by team member Zach! We tried the garlic parmesan wings and the half chicken BBQ plate. The smoked meat is so tender it falls off the bone. Everything was flavorful and the side dishes (mashed potatoes and coleslaw) also tasted homemade. Came on a Monday night so the atmosphere was a bit lonely but hopefully this review encourages more customers to go. All around a great restaurant -- we will definitely be back!
