  I took my son to a friend's birthday party here and they had booked weeks in advance. They had a lot of trouble getting someone to even answer the phone to book the party. When we got there it was like the party wasnt even booked. We waited an hour before we could even get a bowling lane when we was supposed to have 3 reserved. We reserved a table which they told us we could come early and decorate but when we got there we were informed we wont be getting a table. So if your planning on having a party here calling in advance to make a reservation is useless.

  We visited Main Event in Kentucky with our family while traveling from another state, and the experience was extremely frustrating and disrespectful. We purchased a 2-hour bowling package, but when it was time to start, the receptionist (named Sam) could not even find our reservation, despite the fact that we had already been charged. After finally starting the game, our bowling session was cut off after only one hour, even though we had paid for two. When we asked for an explanation, we were told that we were supposedly only reserved for one hour, and that the remaining charge was for shoe rental, which was never clearly explained at the time of purchase. To make matters worse, they claimed there was a waiting list, leaving us with no option and no solution. The worst part was the attitude of the receptionist Sam, she was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, and actually turned her back on us when we tried to get a clear answer. That level of customer service is completely unacceptable. This was a waste of time and money, especially for a family visiting from out of state. Poor organization, misleading charges, and terrible customer service. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

  TERRIBLE service!!! The ladies at the bowling desk are extremely rude and racist! I came with my family thinking that we could have fun and payed for two hours but at the end of the first hour they told us that the time was over. When we approached the desk to explain that we paid for two hours and even showed the receipt we where told that there’s nothing that they could do about it cause now they have a waiting list and left us talking to our self. I never write negative reviews of places but they where so rude and dismissive that I’m beyond angry because of this ladies.

  Employees gave information and we’re not aware of how the New Year’s Eve Bash event worked. We waited an hour for food, the sandwich and fries arrived cold, The food for the children did not arrive therefore, as an adult, I did not want to eat my food in front of them so my sandwich And fries just sat and got cold colder. While the fries were good, the Chicken sandwich was very overcooked and dry. In the future, I don’t know if I would participate in another disorganized event like this. And I definitely would not order food again. This was only my second time going to main event each time has gotten worse

  I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience absolutely warrants one. From the moment we arrived, everything felt disorganized. The employee at check-in had no knowledge about the play cards and told us to ask the bar for help. When we went to the bar, they sent us right back to check-in, saying that was their responsibility. We then waited inside the laser tag area for over five minutes with no game starting and no employee present. We eventually had to leave the area and track down the laser tag employee ourselves. The bowling employee was covering 11 lanes by herself and honestly did an incredible job under the circumstances—we felt terrible for her being so overwhelmed. About 20% of the arcade games were broken, and roughly 10% either cheated us out of tickets or failed after we swiped our cards, still deducting credits. I went to the counter three separate times to have games added back, and by the end, I felt like the staff didn’t believe me and was giving me looks. On top of all of this, the entire place was disgusting and smelled strongly of weed. The men’s bathroom was especially bad—standing water on the floor, no paper towels, sinks backed up, and toilets clogged. The food portions were much smaller than normal, which was disappointing considering what we paid. We’ve been coming here around New Year’s for years, but this experience was beyond disappointing. We’ll be trying something different next time and would encourage others to do the same.
