I had the chicken curry and pot gyoza, which were great. Great service by Rose!

We arrived around 7:45 pm and were seated immediately, which was great. Unfortunately, after sitting at our table for about 25 minutes with no server, I finally had to walk up and ask for help. They seemed confused and had no idea what was going on, even though there were only about four other tables in the restaurant.
When the food came out, it looked amazing — but that’s where the positives ended. My ramen was lukewarm and didn’t taste very good. My husband ordered the rice and beef, but there was barely any beef and very little flavor. We also didn’t get drink refills until the manager overheard me say, “I guess we get nothing else to drink.”
We couldn’t even finish our food. To make matters worse, today we are both sick with GI problems.
This was honestly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.

I purchased the Kiwami ramen, which is one of the more expensive options on the menu. It only came with a very basic broth, chashu pork, and chives. I will say the cashier was lovely—she was honest and warned me that the broth was basic and suggested substituting it. When I tried to do that, the cooks told me it would be an additional $3. At that point, I had already added corn, two eggs, and ghost pepper sauce, bringing the total to about $29. Spending over $30 on ramen felt unreasonable, so I declined the substitution.
Unfortunately, the cashier was right. The broth was very unfavorable and dissatisfying. When I got home, I added my own seasonings (Slap Ya Mama and garlic butter), and that’s what finally made it taste good. The ghost pepper sauce was extremely spicy, just as she explained—you only need a small amount—and it was actually delicious.
Overall, the experience felt like a money grab, and it seems like you’re paying more for the location than the food. The amount of pork shown in the photos did not match what I received. I knew this was supposed to be a “meat lovers” ramen and expected to pay more, but for the price and the extremely basic ingredients, it wasn’t worth it. For one of the most expensive ramen options, the lack of substance is disappointing.
There are far too many great ramen places in Louisville to choose this one. For the price I paid, I could have gotten a more authentic, fully loaded ramen elsewhere, added extra pork, and still paid less—or at least enjoyed it more.

Food is pretty good for what you pay. Have been here a few times and probably won’t come back unless I definitely have to. For some reasons I had to wait (sometimes several minutes) at the door before someone came and to be seated everytime. I mean, what’s the purpose of eating ramen at the bar? Because it’s fast and I’m in a rush! If I have to spend at least an hour for a meal, why don’t I go to a proper restaurant?
