Food was great but service was terrible.
We went in last week for my son’s birthday and sat up front with the TVs. Our server, Jake, knew a lot about the menu and had great recommendations, but he was too busy and couldn’t handle all of the tables he had. We sat there waiting for my extra side of gravy for almost 10 mins and the entire time, he was in the area where servers go, talking very loud about his personal life. It was very unprofessional. I tried to notify one of the managers, Dylan, but he didn’t seem to care about us one bit. After I briefly spoke with him, I watched him both and Jake go into the same area and laugh very loud. It could’ve been something completely unrelated to us but the fact that we could hear them from our table is uncalled for. Otherwise, the pork chops were amazing.

Great food, amazing service!
Me and 3 friends were in there last Wednesday and I must say, we had an overall great experience!
I’m someone who gets very overwhelmed when it comes to ordering and couldn’t really decide so I asked our server, danielle, what she likes/recommended and she did not disappoint! Her energy was warm and inviting which helped me calm my nerves and allowed me to enjoy the moment. I ended up getting a bourbon smash, which is not on the current menu and after that, a pomegranate margarita, which is on the current drink menu. For food, I went with one of her favorites, the pork quesadilla (extra cheese) with a side of jalapeños and okra. 10/10 and I’ll definitely be back.

Doc Crow’s is a really nice restaurant with great food. The seasoning and flavor were on point, and everything we ordered tasted really good. The atmosphere was lively and the overall experience was enjoyable.
The only downside was the restroom situation in the front of the restaurant—it was not very clean and could definitely use more attention. Also, the front seating area where we sat felt a bit crowded, which made it slightly uncomfortable.
Overall, the food and flavors were excellent, and I would still recommend trying Doc Crow’s. With a little improvement in cleanliness and spacing, the experience could easily be a 5-star visit

It was okay. Dined with a large work group. Several commented the brisket was dry. A couple people said the Mac and cheese was out of this world good. Had a few shared apps. Homemade chips and cheese spread were good. Fried pickles and okra were...fried pickles and okra. Smoked wings were said to be very good. Jambalaya was said to be good. Shrimp and grits was tasty, but grits were probably allowed to sit too long and congeal, but tasty with the jalapeño hush puppies. Very much more hush or puppy than jalapeño, but good. Amber ale was okay. Cheesecake, creme brulee were said to be good but not extraordinary. The chocolate chip cookies were unimpressive. Service was okay as well. I'll dine here again if dragged by a work commitment, but menu variety and no "wow" factor will not convince me to go into downtown to spend my own money. Fairly noisy atmosphere as well.

The food here was seriously good. The chicken was smoked first and then fried, which gave it a really unique flavor. You get that smoky taste along with the crispy fried texture, and it works so well. The bourbon honey they serve with it is perfect for dipping—sweet, a little rich, and it really brings everything together. The mac and cheese was also fantastic. Super creamy and really flavorful, exactly what you want from a good mac and cheese. I also ordered the jambalaya along with some onion rings. The onion rings were decent and nicely crispy, but the jambalaya was the real standout. It was packed with flavor and honestly might be one of the best I’ve had. Definitely a dish I’d come back for without thinking twice.
