We did a curbside pickup, and I ordered a Quarter Pounder with just cheese and ketchup, a medium fry, and a large Diet Coke. We didn’t start eating until we got onto I-75 South. After a few bites of my burger, I noticed it was slightly pink—not raw, but definitely pink. Honestly, I should’ve known better, but since we weren’t stopping again, I kept eating. By the time we reached Knoxville, I started vomiting profusely. I was sick nonstop from Knoxville all the way to Chattanooga. I genuinely thought I was going to die. I threw up seven times with my entire family in the car. Thankfully, once we reached North Georgia, it finally stopped. I tried taking two nausea pills, but I threw those right back up. I couldn’t even keep down a sip of Gatorade without it coming back up. I won’t be eating at McDonald’s for a long time, which is disappointing because I usually enjoy the food. But when a burger causes two hours of constant vomiting, it’s enough to make you never want to eat there again.
