She wasn’t just rude to me as a customer—she was also openly rude and dismissive to her coworkers right in front of everyone. Her tone was sharp, impatient, and unprofessional. Simple questions were met with attitude, and watching her snap at other employees made the whole place feel uncomfortable. No one should be treated like that, whether they’re a customer or a coworker. The food was fine, but service matters. One bad attitude can ruin the entire experience, and that’s exactly what happened here. People like her shouldn’t work if they are just gonna give attitude to a customer. I just imagine how hard her coworkers have it with her there.

Five Guys began its pursuit to redefine the global burger landscape in 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked three of their sons whether they wanted to start a business or go to college. The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.

We are switching to fry bags to ensure your fries stay fresher and as part of our larger commitment to the environment.
