  I have gone past it for years but never has the time to stop. Yesterday I did. Loved it. Don't find places like that everyday. Doesn't look like much from the outside but I think that adds to the draw.

  It really checks every box of a great spot (friendly service, cheap prices, enticing menu), just wasn’t wowed by the sandwich and greens I got. Sandwich was fine but felt a lot more like four great sounding things slapped together than some harmonious creation. Wouldn’t knock it as like a road trip grub stop? And the brisket itself was quite tender.

  Smoked salmon platter for two. Sides of barbecue baked beans and coleslaw. Salmon was incredible. Customer service, super friendly, helpful. Restaurant was packed with many people standing in line on Valentine’s Day, 230pm. We will be back.

  Congrats Mitch and The brunette working today I will never spend a cent of my money at Red State ever again. EVERY week me and my wife would get Red State for a lunch date and been a 5 year customer. Supposedly they raised the price and my wife asked about it so they decided to mess with my order of food. They decide to give me the smallest BBQ sandwiches with absolutely no portion and super small order of fries that was cold. Tried to charge us extra for sauce they didn’t even put in the bag.When my wife asked about the sauce the lady turned around and totally ignored my wife. When I called back to ask for names to leave a review Mr.Mitch hung up on me. I have never ever dealt with that bad customer service in MY LIFE. Truly disgusting the way Mr.Mitch and The brunette treated me and my wife AND I was a life long customer and when people where to get BBQ I would always say is Red State is THE ONLY PLACE TO GO. I can promise if anyone ever ask again I tell them it be the last place I would ever go. Congrats Mitch for your disgusting terrible customer service YOU cost Red state a customer for life. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN.

  I’ve been coming to Red State for a few years. Today I was surprised to discover that they have increased the price on their brisket plate by $5 (about a 42% price increase). I love their food, but this felt extreme. That being said, perhaps they increased the amount of meat that you receive (unconfirmed). My sliced brisket plate came with 3 slices of brisket and 2 sides for $18.
