  Stopped in with my children and mother today. I was very excited to try this place, as we all love fresh juice, smoothies, and the occasional treat. I was planning to purchase a fresh juice, as the shop IS called “Ranoush: Waffles Crepes Fresh Juice”… but the gentleman who was working today informed me that he could not make it. I asked if it was just the juice flavor I wanted, because I’d gladly pick a different flavor, but he said “No, no juices.” Okay…? It IS a “fresh juice” shop…right? It was really odd. I picked a smoothie, which was alright. The kids loved their cotton candy ice cream, but that’s available at any ice cream shop. My mom asked to order a specific mocktail, Pink Lemonade; and he said, “No, I don’t recommend.” We looked at each other like “Whaaat??!” 😅 I asked, “Is it not available or not good?” He replied “Not good, I don’t recommend….” Sheesh. We had a very hard time understanding him—I know there is a language barrier, which I appreciate and respect, and I tried hard to comprehend him, but he was also mumbling and not speaking clearly, so we just said, “Okay, iced tea?” And that was alright. He also kept getting in his phone whenever possible, and while making the tea & smoothie. Just not a good experience overall. Not worth paying so much, not worth the trip, nothing spectacular unfortunately. My only other thought is, was he new to the job, and didn’t know how to make the items? Not sure. But I won’t be going back sadly.

  The guy was there alone and had several orders to fill. Our crepes came out cold and chocolate kinda weird. The worker did not greet us and was hard to understand. The food did have good flavor though. If he had some help it would probably be a perfect place to enjoy some Dubai chocolate or ice cream. The guy was also on video chat with a girl the whole time and that was a little weird.

  My 3 granddaughters and I had dishes of ice cream all the ice cream was grainy (icy) not creamy. Apparently old or not taken care of prperly. One grandaughter had a chocolate shake very good and beautiful presentation. I won't be back.

  Have been here a few times with wonderful experiences. This last time not so much. Waited in the lobby for almost 10mins with no one around. Literally the store was open but empty we even called out and checked around and no one was there. Updated We went today 12/30/2025 around 12:50-1pmish

  This is a very unique dessert restaurant, particularly for Lexington. The ice cream is good, the smoothies are fresh and delicious, the Dubai chocolate is as good as advertised, and it's obvious that the owner cares about the store and wants to provide a good customer experience. If you like smoothies and desserts, please help this restaurant do well - Lexington needs restaurants like this one to provide a counterpoint to the typical ice cream places in town. Also, if you have kids and bring them in here, be aware they'll drive you nuts to go back on a regular basis. :)
