Stopped at the helmsdale location last night after telling my roommate how great five guys burgers were. After trying to order from an employee who only mumbled, we received two very expensive, dried, tasteless hockey pucks on buns (her bun actually had hard spots). My roommate compared them to burgers at McD's and I have to agree. We laughed at the signage all around touting fresh, juicy burgers... seems like restaurants don't care about quality and consistency in their food anymore...At least the peanuts were good.

Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
