The atmosphere is so cozy, and you’re greeted with warm, welcoming smiles the moment you walk in. My brother was in from out of town, and I just had to take him to this gem — it never disappoints! The food is packed with rich, delicious layers of flavor. I highly recommend the salmon entrée and the glazed shrimp appetizer — both were absolutely outstanding! All around, this place is a true Lexington staple and a must-visit any day of the week.

The pasta was incredibly fresh, and I loved the Brussels sprout salad. The fresh chocolate cookies make for an unbeatable dessert. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cute, as it’s in an old farmhouse. My table by the window was a little chilly from a draft, but the character of the interior was great!

Our server made great recommendations and when she took a little longer to take our drink menus, she gave us complementary bread. We started with the jalapeño hoecakes ($16). They were good, but the whole cakes were a little dry to me. We split the New York strip ($58) with brussels sprouts and macaroni and cheese ($10) as the sides. The steak was juicy with lots of flavor. Of course, we had to get the chocolate chip cookies to go! They have the best cookies and straight out of the oven.
