The service is always slow, even when placing a mobile order, and almost every time I’m asked to pull ahead and wait. I typically order a double cheeseburger with extra onions, yet without fail, it arrives with fewer onions than the standard portion. I’ve overlooked this recurring issue in the past, but today was worse than usual — my fries were cold and soggy, and my Diet Coke tasted flat. McDonald’s is known for having the best, crisp fountain sodas, so that was especially frustrating. Despite multiple attempts to provide feedback and request improvements, nothing ever changes at this location. The lack of consistency and care makes this one of the least reliable McDonald’s I’ve visited.

Normally I wouldn't go that late, but worked a 14 hour shift and just wanted a cheeseburger and fries. Nobody answered the drive-thru so I pulled around. There was another car at the second window. I stopped at the first. There was someone there, but ignored me. Stayed right around the corner. So I pulled up and waited. The other car, and someone at that window were talking. But, now, it was after 11 so I drove off. That was the last trip I will have. The service has been getting worse at this location for a long time. Calling the main office does nothing. They could care less. In a town with only 3 other fast food chains, they don't need to care, and they clearly don't. McDonald's should move out of Hodgenville and let a customer focused company move in.
