  The other day, I was having a pretty tough day at work, as one does on occasion. I had forgotten to pack lunch, and my natural choice was chipotle. I really like to pride myself on enjoying the little things, and when I tell you that the burrito I received from this location was angelic, I’m not joking. Proportions, flavor, the strong wrap technique, I mean everything about this thing was what I dreamed it would be. It really made my day so much better. In a world where so often customers are let down by their food orders, the highland heights Chipotle truly delivered. I have always had great experiences with this location. From the bottom of my heart (and stomach) thank you all so much for providing such a great end product. Not being disappointed by one’s order can be such a blessing on a hard day, and you guys truly blessed me the other day when you gave me such a magnificent burrito. Thank you and keep up the great work! :)

  Carne Asada bowl was good. Just a couple tough pieces of meat. The vegetables could be sliced a little small, got some big pieces of green pepper and red onion.

  I usually brag about this particular Chipotle store as it has consistently been fresh, clean, stocked and quick, but not tonight…. Whooaaa…. Walked in, slow staff, trash overflowing the garbage cans, empty beer bottle resting near the empty fork canisters and empty napkin holders, and staff apologized as I walked up, as they had no rice! Then I was offered very little chicken as I received about 70% (and that’s being generous) of a scoop, followed by only a portion of a scoop of black beans, and the guacamole container was scraped almost clean! Soooo, no rice, no regular portions of chicken or black beans, and the dining area was atrocious looking with garbage overflowing the containers… the women’s bathroom was dirty but usable. This is honestly a first for me to see/experience or review this restaurant in such a negative light as I did this evening. I was there 6:20 pm-6:35 pm. One young male employee offered to find me a fork, filled two containers after about force minutes with forks, set them in the openings and left the beer bottle sit where it had been… I asked him to remove it and he did… the staff were apologetic but I was stunned…

  Let me tell you something, I showed up on Halloween night during my late lunch break at Walgreens. It was a busy atmosphere, very vibrant and respectful. It was busy, though, so the staff were under a bit of pressure. When I was finally up, a gentleman named Andrew decided he would give me extra portions, he did so with a great attitude, as well. The girl next to him Bella, rolled the burrito up so well without needing an extra layer of tortilla. Phenomenal atmosphere, service, and of course food. The staff there, today brought value and attention and empathy to the other customers, that and skill.
