Update: On February 16, 2026, I placed our regular drink order on the subpar Sonic app that corporate must rectify, although such a change is unlikely. The order was scheduled to be ready at 2:11 p.m., and we parked in a stall and checked in as usual. The app indicated that our order was ready, and approximately 10 minutes after checking in, the screen at stall 5 displayed our order was on the way. Regrettably, our drinks never arrived, and we remained there, observing every stall empty as individuals who arrived after us placed orders and received their orders, while we were still waiting. When I placed this order, we had sufficient time to collect it and my daughter to drive me home and get to work. However, due to the incompetence of the employees, this did not transpire. Typically, orders are placed and picked up within 5-10 minutes, so we were deeply upset. Upon noticing that no one was bringing our order, we proceeded to the drive-thru, where every employee exhibited rude behavior. Although I am unable to recall their names, the female with long hair and a habit of braiding it handed us our order, inadvertently omitting one item. Subsequently, the other female operating the drive-thru was particularly unprofessional. When we requested our receipt, she first suggested that we should have checked in properly to expedite the order’s delivery. Subsequently, she slammed the window shut and went to retrieve the receipt, but she provided us with the incorrect one. In conclusion, I unequivocally declare that I will never return to this location again. This experience was unequivocally the most unpleasant I have ever encountered. I would give this negative stars if I could considering how AWFUL the experience was!
As a devoted customer of Sonic Drive-In, I have consistently visited the establishment daily. However, I am compelled to express my dissatisfaction due to persistent issues with your app, the declining quality of your food and beverages, & rude employees that really hate their job! Consequently, I will significantly reduce my patronage, if not cease it altogether!
On February 12, 2026, my daughter and I visited the Fort Wright, Kentucky location to collect our drink order, which included two Route 44 Cokes and one Route 44 Sprite with cherry. Upon returning home, I consumed one of the Cokes, which was flat. I subsequently tried the other Coke, and it exhibited the same unsatisfactory quality. My daughter attempted to consume her Sprite, but it also turned out to be flat. This situation is particularly concerning given that I had spent nearly $10 on these beverages, only to have them rendered undrinkable. I am deeply frustrated by this experience. When I attempted to contact customer service, I was met with a lack of responsiveness and a series of red herrings.
