I had an extremely disappointing experience at Sonic, and it’s honestly one of the worst fast food visits I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I pullied in, things just felt off. The drive-in stalls were dirty, with trash scattered around and what looked like old food left sitting near the curb. Not a great first impression.
I placed my order through the speaker, and it took several minutes before anyone even responded. When someone finally did, they sounded rushed and irritated, like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. I tried to ask a simple question about the menu, and they cut me off mid-sentence.
The wait time was ridiculous. I ended up sitting there for over 20 minutes for a pretty basic order, and there was no communication or update. When the food finally arrived, it was barely warm. The fries were soggy and tasted like they had been sitting out for a long time, and my burger was sloppily put together, with the toppings unevenly piled and the bun slightly crushed.
To make matters worse, part of my order was missing. When I pressed the button to let them know, I had to wait again just to get someone’s attention. The response I got felt dismissive, and it took even longer to get the missing item.
Overall, the combination of poor service, long wait times, and low-quality food made this a frustrating experience from start to finish. I definitely won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone looking for a quick, reliable meal.
