Originally from Brooklyn, New York, owner, Charlie Messina worked in his father’s pizzeria in 1976 and moved to Williamsburg with his wife and three children. After owning several restaurants along the peninsula on his own, Charlie decided to open a New York-style pizzeria with two other cooks from Doraldo. Little Charlie’s Pizza, named after his grandson, is a 70s-80s-style New York pizzeria offering a convenient and cheaper way for customers to enjoy a high quality meal.
