So I turned around and walked out. I don't believe I've ever in my life gone into a restaurant that was that loud. Front row rock concert basically. Too bad, I was looking forward to it

When I first walked in I had to ask why no one was taking orders they said “ we are on a 20 minute shift change” but no that ended up being an hour just to clean a few tables and one spot on the floor.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
