    Gold Star is our go Cincinnati style chili. We prefer it over Skyline Chili. When we go back home to NKY we make it a point to stop by GoldStar for our first meal.

    The specific location was very clean. I haven't been to a gold star in a long time. The server was very friendly and accommodating. I felt like I was at a fancy or place for sure.

    Dining in while eating a man walked in we thought he was homeless he walked behind where the food was started touching things food ice etc. No gloves nothing he looked very filthy !!!! I asked our waitress if he worked there. She hesitated and said he kind of fixes things around here. He proceed to stand next to the food took his dentures out of his mouth!!! waved them around put them back in his mouth. Then proceeded to get a fan that looked like it came from the trash and plugged it in again all on top of where the food is prepared and touched things again never washing his hands or putting on gloves!!! Me and my husband were disgusted!!! Our poor waitress looked mortified as she apologized we politely paid our bill and left!!!! Our waitress has been there forever and us always great!! the food was good but , now I can't help but think if he does this alot!! Sadly I will not return to this goldstar
