Great atmosphere, really good food, and super sweet staff. I love coming here on Sundays because it’s never too busy and the food is always fresh and tasty. My personal favorite is the chicken crepe or the chile verde skillet, but my boyfriend loves el Benny. As a gluten intolerant the staff has never had issues accommodating him. I had the michelada today and the fresh juice and both were SO good. Our waitress, Bailey, was super sweet and attentive. Will be returning and so glad we have a great new spot in Maize.

Found hairs in my food. The first plate had 2 small black hairs, one on the plate and one in my eggs. I told my waitress and she was super kind and apologetic and had the manager comp my food. The second plate looked good but halfway through eating I found another small black hair under my country fried steak. My family was with me, and all of their food was free of hairs and delicious and the waitress was perfect, a little disappointed that the manager didn't come out and say anything at all or check on my second plate to find out there was yet another hair. Anyways hopefully they start taking measures to ensure the cleanliness of their kitchen.

Crowded and loud, we ended up at a cafeteria style table right between two families so not the best locale for catching up with an old friend. But we did go at peak brunch time so that's on us. The food was simple and good - my veggie omelette was big and filling and the prices were not bad at all. Clean with good service. Our server was sweet and helpful. Would go back when it's not so crowded. Not a lot of gluten free options and they weren't marked on the menu.

Food was fresh, and delicious. Kinda pricey but the wait was what made it meh . The staff was super cool. But also to include in this review it had just opened. So hey, give them a shout-out and check em out. "Crack the egg" breakfast & lunch. Have people saying in the future "let's go crack the egg" and yes I just made that up. 😂🙂‍↔️😏

I’m not sure what’s being taught in schools these days, but apparently 'Fluid Displacement 101' wasn't on the syllabus for the staff here. Note to the kitchen: When you fill a drink cup to the absolute microscopic brim and then jam a suction-cup lid onto it, you are not packing an order—you are building a hydraulic weapon. I didn't even get the lid off before the laws of physics took over and exploded sticky liquid everywhere. It takes a special kind of 'strategic oversight' to turn a simple takeout drink into a hazmat situation. Teach your crew to leave an inch of room, or start handing out ponchos with every to-go bag. Honestly, I don't recommend this place. Duh is duh. Imagine what's been done to the food if the wait staff is this incompetent. Go to Homegrown Kitchen or the Big Biscuit right down the street!
