  We stopped at the Sonic at 135th and Maple Street in Wichita on Thursday night, 02/19/2026 and ordered two $6 meals at the drive through. We were told to move to the window for our total. When we got there the young man at the window told us it would be $17.83 for our order. We told him we had ordered two $6 meals and asked how the total could be that high. He told us that the $6 meals had been discontinued that week and it was now normal combo price. We paid the price we were given and left. I see online today that Sonic is advertising the $6 meals on every social media platform. I checked the Sonic that we had just ordered at the night before and they were also still advertising the $6 meals. We were lied to and overcharged by the employee at Sonic.

  On sunday, 9-14, I purchased a hot dog. The only thing I ate. I got food poisoning. I had to go to ER. i called for two days only to be met with a busy signal......TWO DAYS!!!!

  No in app ordering at this location. Bay I pulled into did not have functioning screen. Went to drive thru. Placed order, did not get confirmation of my order. Waited a bit, then pulled up to the window. My patty melt had so much mayo and mustard the toast slid right off the hamburger patty taking most of the onions with it. At least the cashier was peppy and polite.

  Service was not good, I had the barbecue chicken and the chicken was dry and there was no Barbie sauce hardly on it looks like they just dumped a couple drops on it and then shook it around in the container The only thing positive was the shake it was good as always
