  I went here with my boyfriend on December 30th, 2025. I usually go here every year on my birthday, but this last time I went will be the last time. The food was okay, but it was the waiter that gave us a horrible experience. To this day, I am still wondering why he was incredibly rude towards us. I hate to not give a tip, but this is the one time in my life I felt so badly about how we were treated that I did not tip. The waiter did not give us his name, just walked up to us with a frown on his face in complete silence, gave us menus, then walked off without saying anything. He then came back to ask, "what do you want to drink?" After we ordered our drinks, they were delivered to our table promptly by someone else. The person that delivered our drinks was nice. The drinks were good. Then, the waiter came back to take our orders, then disappeared again. He never checked on us again until we were done eating. The entire time he was at our table or interacting with us, he spoke in a monotonous, annoyed voice with a frown on his face. We were very confused as to why he was so rude to us! He was nice to the other couple he was serving at the bar. He was actually being extremely kind to them, and then when he'd come back to our table... immediately frowning again. I can't wrap my head around why he acted that way towards us. Did he want to go home? Maybe he didn't want more people in his section? It wasn't busy. He had 3 tables tops. The hostess told us to sit there. If he had an issue, he could have just told us and we could have worked it out, rather than him giving us crappy service and attitude that we had to pay for. I would say his name but he didn't say. He had two shiny rings on, he was black (sorry, just trying to describe him), and loudly exclaimed to his other customers that he has 10 kids. My filet (medium rare) was dry, but it looks like the photos, so I think that's just how Saltgrass makes their steaks which is whatever, I guess. I'm just very upset about the server. I won't be returning.

  The salad and the Jack and Cokes were excellent. Even the baked potato, butter only was good. HOWEVER the 12 oz ribeye was inexcusably horrible. Firm believer in 7 minutes a side to a perfect 145 medium. This steak was 10-12 on one side to being burnt to 2-3 on the other side. Not to mention the cut, maybe 3/8 of an inch. East coast cut.

  Poor communication from server and management. Ordered and paid for appetizer, drinks, and some burnt kids corn dogs. Ordered 18oz (1x 10oz and 1z 8oz) of sirloin steaks when we were finally informed they sold out of sirloins. At first it was - “we only have 6 oz sirloins.” We then tried to order three of those. Then they informed us they were out of all sirloins. Managers response was - order a different steak. I can think of a number of ways the restaurants could have improved our experience but I’ll leave that up to the readers imagination. Felt terrible not leaving a tip but I think this could have easily been avoided with sound communication.

  Ordered online a grilled chicken Caesar Salad to go. We ordered from west Wichita, KS and drove approx 10 miles to pick it up. Got it home and there was NO Dressing. This is the one thing that made the salad. The chicken was very bitter. This was our first time to order. NOT A GOOD START Saltgrass.

  Spent 3hrs in total here place was busy , waitress was very friendly. i ordered ribs with the bourbon bacon my bacon came out extremely burnt and my ribs were really dry. I let the waitress know they were really dry you could see it looked really over cooked. We did not get comped for the ribs even though i did not eat them. I feel like with how long we waited then the long wait for the food my ribs and bacon should not of been overcooked. Will not be returning.
