  Wonderful food and service! The lobster bisque and the tomato basil soups were so delicious, fresh, and hot! We each got the pick 3 and it was a good value for the amount of food you get. We will be back soon for sure! The staff was also very friendly and attentive.

  Look, this place is one of the best places I’ve had to eat when it comes to deli style food. Jason’s Deli, McCalister’s, Panera are good but this place, in my opinion, beats them all. The bread is fresh and the sandwiches taste fresh as well. Their Italian is spicy so I would skip the hot relish. Their chicken salad sandwich taste homemade and not like a sour, been sitting there all day, type of chicken salad. Their chicken tortilla soup is on the tomato-y side but take it from someone who absolutely hates tomatoes, it’s got so much flavor, it’s so good. The staff was welcoming BOTH times I’ve gone here (I’ve been twice in 3 days, don’t judge me lol). Both times I walked in, it’s been clean. I’ve read some of the bad reviews on here and it’s sad that they had a bad experience. I would give this place a try. They have a pick 2 or 3 for around 12-15 bucks that can be shared amongst 2 people.I would start there and try things little by little to see what you really like. I’m glad we have Newk’s out here, it’s probably going to be my go to for a while.

  If zero stars were an option, that is exactly what I would give Newk’s Eatery. My wife and I took our three young kids there for lunch, five people total, and the experience unraveled at every step. From ordering to receiving food, it took about 25 minutes for two sandwiches, two kids pizzas, and a mac and cheese that never arrived. And unfortunately, the wait was only the beginning. The food quality was extremely disappointing. The French dip I ordered was, without exaggeration, the worst French dip I have ever had (photo attached). A frozen grocery store version would have been noticeably better. The kids pizzas were undercooked, with raw dough inside. When the mac and cheese was missing, I told the staff member who dropped off the food. He walked to the back, said nothing to anyone, and disappeared. After waiting another five to ten minutes, I had to walk up and explain the issue again, as if it was the first time they were hearing about it. When the mac and cheese finally arrived, it was just as underwhelming as the rest of the meal. Service was nearly nonexistent. Drinks are self serve, tables are not cleared until you leave, and staff will walk past stacked plates. The bathrooms were out of paper towels. Overall, there was no sense of urgency, ownership, or basic attention to detail. The best way I can describe this place is a low quality version of Jason’s Deli that misses the mark across the board. I gave it a fair shot, and now I know better. If I see a Newk’s Eatery in another city, I will keep driving. Subway would be a better option. Gas station pizza from Casey’s would be a better option. Save your money. Save your time. Skip this place entirely.

  We ate at Newk's for the first time tonight and it was an excellent experience!! The food was fabulous, the atmosphere was very bright and open and it has many seating areas even if the crowds are large. The service was good even though we could tell they were having a few growing pains...mostly with how to handle the gift card rewards.. Bought multiple gift cards even though we were only there for the first time. Obviously, we will be back!

  The person that took my order was kind but unorganized. I ordered a kids pepperoni pizza with the free fountain drink. She put the full plastic cup fountain drink on my order instead of the small kids cup and almost charged me three more dollars for it. My bud wasn’t so lucky and didn’t realize she had done the same to his order until after paying for it. The order taker forgot to give me the small plastic cup after getting my change so I had to wait until the current customers got their orders in. I eventually got my pizza which was somewhat cold and a lot of the cheese was missing, although they did do good on the equal distribution of pepperoni on each slice. Another waiter came and gave me another pizza in my name, apparently the order taker had doubled my order. The pizza was actually decent, but would have been better if it was actually warm. The free breadsticks were alright, I do enjoy a free appetizer. One of my buds tried to put some sriracha sauce on his food, but then realized that us, as the customers, had to screw off the lid and take the plastic cover off to pour it. Everyone was very polite and kind but the service could have been better.
