- DMD McGregor5 days ago3.0Menu favorites are gone used to get the sausage and peppers gone and the Veal parm that was on the shadow menu also gone the waitress indicated a new dish that was supposedly similar to the sausage and peppers and they could add red peppers I said OK meal came no peppers the dish was not even remotely close. All in all in was a bomb from a restaurant I had loved.

We have been trying to find a chicken marsala in KC that my wife likes, and we unfortunately struck out at Carrabba's also. I agreed that the sauce wasn't how marsala should taste. She did, however, love the sausage and lentil soup. I had the Pollo Rosa Maria, fettucine alfredo, and a salad (the house salad is really good). There's no accounting for taste as she didn't like her fettucine alfredo, and I liked mine very much. Overall, I think the food is very good here, depending on what you like. The chicken marsala, however, needs to be revisited by the chef.

The bartender was busy and we came in "right as (she) was doing something" and said she'd be with us in just a minute. Several minutes went by with no service. When she did serve us, she didn't know how to make a drink and said she'd never heard of it (Italian margarita). Ordered a different drink and she brought out the recipe book for assistance. She seemed very flustered and said several times she had been "set up to fail". She has to go ask someone to bring her an ingredient for the drink which also happened to the girl who came in after us. To be fair, there was no help for her, but as I said it will as not busy either. Loved the food. Very disappointed in the service.
