Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customer service experiences vary widely; some employees, like Glen and Alisa, received high praise for their friendliness and attentiveness, while others reported rude or inattentive staff.

Cleanliness
The cleanliness of the restaurant is a concern, with multiple reviews mentioning dirty tables and unsanitary conditions.
Speed of Service
Service speed is frequently criticized, with several customers noting long wait times in both the drive-thru and dining areas.
Overall Experience
Overall experiences are mixed, with some customers expressing satisfaction and a desire to return, while others vowed not to return due to poor service or food quality.

I ordered takeout and i after going home i got burned food, i called the store and they said to get the food back and they would replace it. This is ridiculous that i have to get the food back. I am pissed off and never going back there.

This rating is pertaining to the Whataburger near 69 highway on 135th street, in front of Sam's Club, in olathe ks. You go in and order your food and tell them exactly how you want it. 5 or 10 minutes later you receive your order. Nice and hot. The quality of food is okay even though the prices are starting to go up, a number #2 combo for two people used to be $25 and some change. Now it's $26 and some change. I was told the cheese went up to 75 cents a slice, so that's the price of going out to eat. The place is nice and clean and the service is great. So if you are in the neighborhood and wanting a burger and some fries, or maybe a chicken or a salad stop on by.

Used to be a good place to stop at night but there was a staff change. Waited in the drivethru for 5 minutes and nobody took my order. Drove around the building and saw two employees arguing and two police officers inside

It's nice to have somewhere to stop on the way to work extremely early in the morning.
