Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Many customers reported issues with incorrect orders and missing items, leading to frustration.
Service Speed
Numerous reviews highlighted slow service times, particularly in the drive-thru and during peak hours.
Food Quality
While some customers praised the food, others noted inconsistencies in freshness and preparation, with some items being served cold or poorly made.
Cleanliness
The restaurant was often described as clean, but there were instances of dirty dining areas and unkempt tables.
Customer Service
Customer service experiences varied widely, with some staff being friendly and helpful, while others were reported as inattentive or rude.

Everything else was closed so I tried this place out. Not to bad.

This location can’t seem to get orders right. We have been a few times, and each time, something is forgotten. This most recent visit, I checked the bag before leaving. We’d ordered a burger, chicken sandwich, and 2 orders of fries. We were missing one of our orders of fries. I showed the employee my receipt that said I should have 2, and they looked at me like they didn’t believe me. So I opened the bag to show her I only had one. They briefly went through my bag before going back inside and bringing the rest of my order.
My mistake for continuing to go to this location.

Food was average. Fries and burger, but place was clean and staff were friendly. I'd go back. Bonus that you get a free burger on next visit with a fry plus drink purchase if you complete their survey.

The ordering kiosk wouldn't move to payment screen for an unknown reason. We went to the counter to order and the workers kept looking at us and walking right past without helping us order.
We ended up placing an order on our phone for pick up because no one would help us. While waiting, a random man came up to my grandmother trying to sell vapes or something in a very odd encounter. All of the tables and chairs were dirty, the workers were not cleaning up the dining areas.
Food was fine but wouldn't recommend a dining in experience at all.

Don't go to Whataburger if you're a picky eater or have food allergies or want anything extra like sauces or the cool cups, because you won't get it. We order Whataburger delivery multiple times a week, and they have consistently been terrible and completely unreliable. I will not be ordering again, ever. They constantly forget buffalo sauce (which you pay extra for) bacon on burgers (which you pay extra for) or they'll forget to put your desserts in (which you pay extra for) or they don't add the extra chicken strip you ordered and pay for, or they will forget to put in the limited edition cup you ordered and paid extra for. Don't bother ordering extra anything because you won't get it. Also, if you hate onions with a passion this is not the place for you because your burger will taste like onions even when there are none on there - how they manage that is beyond me.
