Before Prohibition was repealed, in December of 1933, The Peanut existed as a speakeasy.
Today, The Peanut serves the Kansas City community with the most delicious array of bar and grill food in the Metro area. We serve families, businessmen and women, people from all walks of life. We are a genuine neighborhood destination. A comfortable, friendly, affordable respite from the stresses of daily life.
