    I get breakfast from here during weekdays and as far as McDonald's goes, it does better than most ant others

    I don't know what goes on in here, but every time I go here, they get everything wrong or I have to wait 15 minutes for my food!

    No greeting until I prompted after almost 5 minutes waiting, then told to wait further since I wasn't "door dash" then told "machines were down" specifically, due to obvious understaffing or ability to manage the machine during a night shift higher demand not a customer driven experience.

    Went through the drive thru for the Huntrix meals, first they don’t put half of it in the box then gave me attitude when I told them I wanted my entire meal including my drink they tried not to give me. NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE!!

    I don't even know where to start--- but, i guess to kick things off there is absolutely no accountability for toxic behaviors amongst staff. I was racially profiled at this McDonald's on 12/18/2025, not only was I dealing with a family emergency at that time- management also instigated the entire situation along with remaining deflective and disrespectful; under no circumstances was it appropriate for MANAGEMENT to talk to a customer like that; the manager also lied to dispatch on the phone. When she threatened to call the cops, I strongly encouraged her to do it and I expressed that I wanted this incident reported. I had several witnesses in the lobby that day as well, in addition to the yelling (as I was on the phone and a family member was on the other end of the phone and could tell this woman was out of line). I ended up getting trespassed because of the general manager's dishonesty and belligerence, and when I called her out on being dishonest to dispatch she just scoffed. I did stand up for myself because I wasn't willing to give into racial/prejudice rhetoric's, because that's all it was. This woman had the nerve to look at me a certain type of way after I called out a similar pattern of racism that she was portraying, and she proceeded to point to a young black man and said "I'm not racist that's literally my nephew"; which was such a weird line of defense to run to. It seemed extremely inappropriate that she looked at the closest (and only) black person around and proceeded to use them as an example due to "common ground", because the issue wasn't with him. Color was the only thing this person and I possibly had in common anyway, and when I mentioned that to her, she got visibly upset. I used to work at McDonald's (worked for DBA) on and off for 2.5 years, and I know McDonald's culture. While times are changing and things are becoming less acceptable to say, this aligns a lot with cultural appropriation as that alone was giving into a stereotype that was not at all relevant to the situation. I was literally praying in the lobby because one of my biggest deal-breakers in general, are liars. I don't like them, I don't trust them and I definitely don't put up with it either when I don't have it. I had ended up really getting into the nitty gritty with Merriam Police Department several times, meeting with people up to ranks of a MAJOR over a NUMBER that the manager didn't want to give up because she was being racist. I couldn't make a proper complaint as this store is individually owned. Again, after 5 visits with Merriam Police Department- a sergeant called the store on my behalf and relayed back to me to call the store on 03/17. On 03/17, I call the store, much to my surprise (not) that it's the lady that profiled me at this McDonald's and instantly got dismissive and hung up. I was wanting a number higher up because this is absolutely unacceptable and when I called back I was told that if I ever call the store again, they'll get the police involved. I had another witness with me too that day for the entire phone call, which was infuriating them to a point where they gladly gave me state corporate's number. There's no reason, at all for me to be treated this way, Topeka McDonald's can't help me because the only number they have on file for any type over ownership is the store's number and I'm banned from calling it. There was a nice gentleman who gave the me phone on 12/17-12/18 who I atleast was grateful for, but again, have no idea what to do and this behavior isn't okay and i'm not willing to give up.
