So I had to take a moment for this review because I was so out done with the experience I had. Previously, I rated this restaurant highly and prior to this visit had great experiences. Last Wednesday, January 21, 2026 that ALL changed. Allow me to explain.
My husband and I arrived at this establishment about 7:30 pm. We sat in the vehicle for a few minutes because we were having a spirited debate about something, I can't even remember what it was. I walked in to place our order about 7:35 pm. The young lady who took my order was pleasant and helpful. There was another person in there with her that I later found out was supposedly the manager, Jeffrey (Jeff). I spoke to him when he came over to begin fixing our order and when I tell you the whole experience shifted, that's exactly what I mean. When I spoke to him he completely ignored me, so I spoke again, thinking he might not have heard me. He looked at me with this vile stare and said "WHAT!!! Yeah just making sandwiches". There was no hello, how are you, NOTHING. It felt as though I was bothering him by attempting to be cordial.
He began making our food and wasn't placing the correct ingredients on the sandwiches. I politely asked him to please place the ingredients on the sandwiches according to my order. He initially ignored me again. Then he shot back a dirty, nasty look and said "Uh, I'm handling this and I make them per the receipt. He looked at the receipt again and realized his error but never changed his horrible attitude, ridiculous demeanor or offered an apology.
The young lady in the store was visibly "shook" by the manner in which he was treating me and rushed over to assist Jeff in making our sandwiches. I thank her for that.
He then walked over right in front of where I was standing where his water bottle was, took a drink from the bottle and looked at me like I was dog poop on the bottom off his shoe. I then said "Pause, what is the problem here? Why do you find it necessary to be so rude?!?" He once again ignored me completely.
Why didn't I leave and request a refund? Well, my husband was craving a certain sandwich from here and in that light I stayed to get his sandwich and used super human restraint in doing so. I was so frustrated, angry and hurt that I had to get eerily quiet to keep my composure about myself.
Another really interesting detail was ALL the ingredients were put away, the line where they pull the ingredients from to build the order was completely empty. I found this very odd being the store didn't close for another hour and a half.
In conclusion, this was single handedly one of the worst experiences I've ever had when ordering food and I won't go back to this location - solely because of Jeff and the way he treated me. It was uncalled for and abusive to me as a customer. No wonder when I asked the young lady his name she whispered it to me. If he so easily treated me as a customer like trash I can't imagine how he treats employees. For Jimmy John's to place a person like this in a leadership position is incomprehensible and irresponsible. Customers coming in is the reason Jeff is employed. It's a shame he doesn't realize that and behave and act accordingly.
This experience has tarnished Jimmy John's as a brand for me. I won't be returning. Of course the choice is up to you where you spend your hard earned money but patronize this business at your own risk. ✌🏼Out!
