  I was really disappointed with my experience at this burger pub. The food was not good at all. The fries were overdone and tasted burnt, and the small amount of sauce served with them felt unnecessarily rationed. The pretzels came with barely any beer cheese, which made them dry and not enjoyable. The drinks were even worse. The margarita tasted awful, and the martini was warm and clearly not made properly. It honestly felt like it was put together by someone with no training. To make things worse, our server did not seem to understand the menu and couldn’t answer basic questions.   I've been visiting Lawrence for work going on 15 years now. A former employee recommended this place when I asked where to grab a good burger. Well, life happens but I finally got around to stopping by. Pros: Food was decent. Typical bar fare. Service was prompt and friendly. Atmosphere was not exactly screaming, "This is the place to be". There were only two other tables being occupied around 12:30pm on a Monday. Cons: IMO, a bar is not to be synonymous with a fine dining establishment. Meaning, the burger, sandwich, wrap, whatever handheld I order should come with a side included, not a la carte. Again the food was good, but as a single dinner ordering a burger, onion rings, and an appetizer, needless to say, I had a little sticker shock with a $41 lunch tab. Oh, this also included an undisclosed 3% tip implemented for using a credit card. I despise hidden fees! Bottom line - While the food and service were adequate, I think you are better off finding somewhere else to spend that amount of money and likely feed two people.

  Eat in and carry out. Always great food and enjoy inside, especially if in one of the booths.

  Food was great; prices are very high. We ordered online to save you some time, but still incurred an "online platform fee". We will call next time.
