  Hosted my son’s birthday party here and had an adequate overall experience. The staff were easily the highlight, friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful with a big group of kids, which made a huge difference. That said, be prepared: everything is priced to add up quickly. Between the games, food, and drinks, it’s very easy to spend more than expected. If you go in knowing that and set a budget upfront, you’ll enjoy it a lot more. Bottom line: good place for a kid’s party because of the staff and energy, just not a place for a cheap outing.

  What kind of dirt bag steals a kid's Power Card!? Despite having his card immediately stolen after winning several jackpots, the management went above and beyond to rectify the situation and make the best out of a bad situation. 4 stars for atmosphere only because you need to keep your card on you...or else. My son literally turned his back and had it swiped from right in front of him. Pro-tip - take a picture of the back of your card, and immediately report to mgmt in case it ever happens, or register your card on the D&B app.

  I would give this no stars but two will have to suffice so this review isn’t deleted. From the start we weren’t greeted nor talked to from any host or server. As we entered the play area we asked a server if we could sit ourselves anywhere, she replied “yes”. Once we sat ourselves we simply waited for over 20 minutes (mind you there was no rush and there was only one other group sitting). I had to get up and physically go ask for a manager to find out where our server was. The manager (Caucasian male) approached our family with a negative attitude stating, “if we wanted to be served we should’ve checked in with somebody” and then proceeded to make the situation seem like it was our fault. I did not appreciate the service, cold food, or negative manager. Please do not bother giving this place your time or money. Sorry to say but this place has gone down big time.

  While it took a little bit of time to get greeted at the table, that is the only complaint I have about my trip to this Dave and Busters. It has a great location with alot to do around it. The food tasted great, I only wish there had been more for me to enjoy on my plate. I will be returning with some friends on my next time through KC.

  I haven't been here for years so I made a reservation on case it was busy (Friday night). It was not busy at all, but it still took a while to be seated as the hosts were very confused about which of them should be seating versus updating their chart. Our server was the best part by far. She was attentive and caught a mistake by the kitchen without us having to even mention it. Everyone in my party was shocked by the bill. For food half as good as other "comparable" restaurants, we easily paid twice as much. None of us will be coming back here to eat. The games were fun overall, but a handful weren't fully functional. When it costs as much as a thousand tickets for a little bag of candy, a game failing to count a hit feels pretty bad.
