Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I've been to this location three times now, and unfortunately I've yet to have a positive experience.
First time was opening week, and it took 45-60min to get our order. I gave them a pass this time.
The second time, they forgot to give us a number, and their receipt printer was not working. After about 30 minutes of not receiving food, I asked for an update, and they asked for my number and receipt, of which I had neither. They had to ask the manager to go through the order history to find our order and put it together. There was no attempt made to offer us anything for our troubles.
The third time, I went through the drive through, and they gave me the wrong order. We had to call, return to the restaurant, and return the order while they remade our original order. Again, there was no attempt made to offer anything for our troubles.
Once we had our food, it was always fresh, and the restaurant is always clean.

I try my best not to share negative reviews. I reached out to this establishment about an order. Ordered a special order. Repeated the order to the speaker about five to six times. Waited about 30m for food when there was no one in the dining room and two cars in front of us. The order was correct on the screen, on the two separate foot long stickers for two combos and an order of wings. Checked the order before driving home. It was incorrect. I've worked in food service for a decade or so and I was disappointed that it was incorrect but nothing to get mad about. The only thing that can drive me crazy is when the same person who took my order asks me to repeat what is needed for a remake. I repeated myself a few times to them. I told them "in case you have issues recalling, don't forget the sticker can help." They stomped away. Waited for about ten minutes. A different worker asks me what was on the sandwich. I told them and reminded them of the label. It's been about 20m waiting on a sandwich. The rest of the order is chilling out in the car. The fries are past their prime due to the inconvenience. Before they hand me the sandwich back, I asked for a fry replacement. Fries are cheap. Told them a large and a medium, please. Then, the first time I came in contact with the shift manager, handed me a bag back with a burger and a brownie. They were snarky and not very nice. I asked them for fry replacements. They chose not to listen, but placed a medium fry in the bag. So, I was going to treat the situation calmly and politely but decided to unwrap and check the sandwich for accuracy in front of them and place the brownie back onto the counter and left. No one greeted me when I came in. There was an audience of about six young people gawking, and not a manager to be seen in a restaurant that wasn't bust at 720 on a Feb 1st. $37 for a waste of time. Please train your people to care. Hire caring people. If there's a shortage of that, then don't stay open for 24 hours. What was the substitution? A Monterey burger with Monterey cheese for both areas of cheese and no ranch sauce. Done. I have a picky eater who doesn't like the American cheese. I have contacted the customer service for help. Nothing. I'd rather go to a different location until this one can learn how to take care of themselves and other people for now.

I’ve had better continental breakfasts.
I used to be a big fan of Whataburger, but in the past 10-20 years sadly their quality has gone downhill. I never thought they would serve powdered eggs… but here we are. I doubt my family will bother trying breakfast here again. It’s just so meh and overpriced.

Ive personally nothing against this restaurant it's just nothing that super stands out, they have decent burgers I believe I get the spicy BBQ and it's generally fills the void if needed. Staff seems fine but overall just another fast food burger joint.
