  Always a great experience at Los Cocos. There was a mishap with a takeout order that I did and the manager was very quick to make it right. Awesome customer service!

  Los Cocos I in Derby, KS is basically my emotional support restaurant at this point. Walking in just feels right, like you’ve made a solid life decision for once. The Mexican food tastes like someone’s abuela is in the back taking this very seriously. I’m hooked on the soft tacos. They’re packed with fresh ingredients, and unlike some places that act like protein is on a strict budget, these tacos actually show up loaded. You leave full. Not “I could snack later” full. I mean cancel-your-evening-plans full. The service? Suspiciously good. Everyone is friendly, fast, and somehow always on top of everything. It’s the kind of place where your drink gets refilled before you even realize you needed it, which honestly feels like mild mind-reading. And then there’s the $2.99 margaritas. At that price, I walked in planning to behave like a responsible adult and left… significantly less committed to that lifestyle. — Los Cocos I en Derby, KS es básicamente mi restaurante de apoyo emocional. Entrar ahí simplemente se siente bien, como si por una vez hubieras tomado una buena decisión en la vida. La comida mexicana sabe como si la abuela de alguien estuviera en la cocina tomándose esto muy en serio. A mí me encantan los tacos suaves. Están llenos de ingredientes frescos y, a diferencia de otros lugares donde parecen racionar la carne como si fuera oro, aquí sí sirven bien. Sales lleno. Pero lleno de verdad, como para cancelar cualquier otro plan. ¿El servicio? Sospechosamente bueno. Todos son amables, rápidos y siempre atentos. Es el tipo de lugar donde te rellenan la bebida antes de que te des cuenta de que la necesitas, lo cual ya parece telepatía. Y las margaritas de $2.99… A ese precio, entré con la intención de ser un adulto responsable y salí… mucho menos comprometido con esa idea.

  First time in, very impressed. My Fajitas San Miguel was outstanding. Alot of food. My Wife's Chimichanga was great. Chip basket never went empty. Salsa was so good, we bought a side to take home. Highly recommended this place.
