  It doesn't take anything to check the order one is making. I've been thru this Dunkin twice today and ordered ice coffees. One large came as a medium for some reason.

  I've been a fan of DD since I was a very young girl in New England. One of my favorite memories is walking in the snow to DD with my mom, having hot chocolate and a vanilla cream. Always my favorite. We made snow angels in our neighbors yards on the way home. We'll, not the DD of my childhood. No more frosted vanilla cream donuts. They're still filled to the seams with the vanilla cream but, now smeared with chocolate sauce and a swirl of whipped cream. Do they even have the chocolate cream option anymore? I didn't dare ask. I picked 2 maple and asked if they had maple bacon. The one and only employee I saw gave me a look of horror and disgust. Is. That. A. Thing? How? What does it... Taste like? Do they cook the bacon? And with hand motions... Crumble it on? I assured him they do cook the bacon and it's very good. He could not imagine how those 2 flavors could work. I tried to explain the mix of sweet and salty combo. Then mentioned another shop calls them Oprah W... They are her favorite. He didn't know who that was. I stopped. Took my new dressed up vanilla cream, naked maple and classic glazed. The baker may not get up before dawn, they may have streamlined the process and added new "improved" donuts. Vanilla cream will always be my favorite. I might not miss the powdered sugar remains on my clothes, dash, steering wheel, floor board... Giving my guilty pleasure and treat to myself away. Seriously? Who hasn't heard of maple bacon or Oprah.
