  Went in for lunch with a friend for lunch and our server Andrew was phenomenal. He was good at his job and had a wonderful attitude making the experience more enjoyable.

  I stopped at the Vincennes, Indiana Fazoli’s this afternoon on my way home because my husband was craving pasta. I was not. I honestly hadn’t been in years, but I remembered the breadsticks being dangerously good, so I figured why not. When I walked in, the dining room was completely empty except for one recently vacated table and a self order kiosk. Before I could even figure out the kiosk situation, a very kind young man greeted me, took my order personally, and struck up a genuinely enjoyable conversation while I waited. The food came out impressively fast. I ordered a salad and my husband got hot pasta. I’ll admit, I was skeptical when everything went into the same bag. Cold salad plus hot pasta plus a 40 minute drive home usually equals disappointment. But whoever packed that bag knew exactly what they were doing. The cold items were placed on the bottom with a heat barrier separating them from the hot food. When I got home, I fully expected to find something wrong with the salad. I was ready to say “Well, that’s what you get.” Instead, it was fresh, crisp, and honestly better than I remember Fazoli’s salads ever being. The breadsticks were still warm. Everything tasted great. Hands down, this was one of the best Fazoli’s experiences I’ve ever had. Great service, thoughtful packaging, and food that held up beautifully even after a long drive. I went in neutral and left impressed.
