- CCCrackers25494 days ago3.0Well, if you like paying over $20 for a hamburger, fries and a small coke then you might like this place but I think it’s ridiculous… First, you walk in and up to the counter, and you place your order and after placing your order it comes up on the computer screen and immediately the screen asks you if you want to tip the person taking your order?? Not buying that one…! He or She is getting paid to take your order in a fast food restaurant, why would that require a tip.? You wait on yourself here…. You then get a number and you wait for your order to come up and then you walk up and pick your order up and you fill your own cup with ice and whatever beverage you selected…. Then you marvel at the fact that you just paid over $20 dollars ($20.28 to be exact)for a hamburger with everything, an order of fries and a Coke….! As far as I’m concerned, the prices are too high and the burgers are OK…. The burger basically fell apart and you then need a fork…! I’d much prefer a Burger King or a McDonald’s over Five Guys and they are cheaper.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
