- SPSarah PoeFeb 17, 20261.0As a customer, have you ever been told that the customer is NOT always right? Repeatedly & with a raised voice by the Subway employee on duty? Because my husband has. All he wanted was a sandwich made the way he asked, but instead was yelled at by the toothless subway employee who had hair so long it was dangling in the food "THE CUSTOMER ISN'T ALWAYS RIGHT!" Over and over and over again. As a person who used to be a manager in the food service industry, the customer IS ALWAYS RIGHT. Period. You make that sandwich the way they ask. Period. All my husband wanted was for this employee to put his lettuce & onions on the sandwich before the sauce. That's it. And this employee (who's name she refused to give because she wasnt wearing a name tag) stated thats not how we make them at this location. I'm sorry... any subway I have EVER been to always does the sauce last. Always. But what really gets me is why this even matters? We are the customer PAYING FOR THIS, so why can you not make it the way I ask? And then to SCREAM at my husband and tell him THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT?!?! This is absurd.
