- TTTherron ThomasDec 16, 20251.0It's difficult to believe that McDonald's has fallen so far in customer service or perhaps it's just this McDonald's. I don't know for certain but I'm pretty sure the software used in their kiosks is adjustable depending on whether they are providing table service or just pick up. I ordered my food this morning and table service was available so I chose the number, paid and had a seat. They were either understaffed or overworked but nonetheless it appeared they were pretty busy. About 15 minutes later I looked up and realized there were a couple of customers standing by the counter and I still had not received my food. But, I remained patient. About 10 minutes later one of the guys that was standing by the counter chatting with his buddy walked around the corner and 'hey bud, did you order some food?' I told him I did and he said "well it's been setting up here for about 20 minutes". Apparently it's too difficult to read that the person who ordered the food expects table service because it was offered. My food was no longer warm and although I commented that they were supposed to bring it to the table I was met with blank stares like I was in some sort of episode of a B movie where all of the McDonald's staff in some kind of zombie-like state. Avoid this particular McDonald's if you get a chance.
