  Came here tonight out of the like 50 restaurants in half a mile. Took multiple minutes for someone to come ring me and the other people waiting up. Then it took exceptionally long for the food despite the fact like nobody was in there. I ordered the burger meal or whatever it was, got it upgraded to a bacon cheeseburger. The bacon cheeseburger had no bacon on it, and the staff did not clarify what kind it was amongst the many choices, so I got the wrong kind of burger to begin with. Didn't find out it was also made incorrectly until after I got home, so I got upcharged for literally nothing. The staff also forgot my drink, and when I pointed that out, they also had to correct themselves halfway through getting it because they weren't getting what I asked for. Normally, I'm extremely lenient, patient, and forgiving with staff everywhere, but when the price of the food is high versus a lot of other restaurants, and I get something even more expensive than normal and it's wrong, I'm basically being robbed. 12 or 13 dollars for a small fry, small drink, and seriously incorrect food is a lot.

  I don't get portillos that often anymore. Decided to get a fish sandwich, pepper and egg sandwich (only Fridays during lent) and a large fry. It was good.

  5 stars for MARCUS !!! probably the friendliest restaurant service worker we’ve come across in a LONG time. Saying hello , helping out and walking around just to create a welcoming atmosphere. Always looking for people like him ANYWHERE !!! :) Foods always good. Grew up in suburbs of Chicago and we had one down the street , so it’s good to come back here to enjoy the bacon burgers and chopped salad and the onion rings and chocolate cake shake when it’s possible.

  SHAME ON YOU FOR MAKING EMPLOYEES STAND OUTSIDE IN 26° WEATHER WITH A CUT OFF OFF OF -18 SHAME ON THIS COMPANY! IF DOGS AND CATS SHOULDN'T BE OUT IN UNDER 45° WEATHER. STOP CHOOSING PROFITS OVER YOUR EMPLOYEES! I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO THE ETHICS BOARD. THE AMOUNT OF MONEY YOUR COMPANY BRINGS IN THERE IS NO EXCUSE. CUSTOMERS CAN USE THE DRIVE THROUGH WITHOUT HAVING PEOPL STAND OUTSIDE TAKE YOUR PROFITS AND PUT IN 2 LANES AND OR CLOSE OFF THE AREA BY PICK UP WINDOWS

  Well. I grew up in the region moved to Florida just came back to see my father figured man Portillo‘s is a great local spot getting in the drive-through. I’d like a beef and sausage combo. Guy asked me do you want it wet I said yes, I want to add sweet peppers and mozzarella cheese. Sure no problem. Charge me for both get back to the place. I’m staying. It’s not wet no mozzarella no sweet peppers. Ridiculous.
