This seems like an easy fix; I saw management respond to someone else a month ago saying they would fix it and they haven’t yet. It’s a no brainer to have live sports on at all times for a sports bar. I am hoping this gets fixed so I can modify my review

My husband and I always sit at the bar because we enjoy chatting with the staff and watching a game while having dinner and a drink. That said, I’m really disappointed with how often we’ve had issues when trying to watch a specific game. This is now the fourth time we’ve come in, asked nicely to have the channel changed, had it turned on—and then, out of nowhere, it gets changed again. Each time, it’s been during a game we specifically came to see, and it’s been impossible to get it switched back. What makes it even more frustrating is that it’s never busy when this happens. It’s not like we’re asking for something obscure or that the bar is packed with people wanting to watch something else. It just feels like no one’s paying attention or really cares what guests are asking for, which is disappointing for a place we frequent so often. I truly hope management takes this kind of feedback seriously, because Big Woods has so much potential to be a consistent go-to spot for game days. Right now, though, it’s becoming harder and harder to justify coming in when the experience is this unreliable. I’ve not posted a review like this for weeks, in hopes that it was a one-off situation, however this continues to be an issue. Customer Service is important and this is a simple ask that goes a long way!
