  Unfortunately we won’t be back to Saltgrass. What was once our favorite restaurant is now at the bottom of our list. Waited for our table 15 minutes after our reservation- not a big deal it’s a busy restaurant night. What was a big deal is one person in our party had to send back their meal due to the steak being overcooked. We never complained that my salad had items that were requested to be left of ( due to a health issue)30 minutes later the manager brings it- everyone else was already finished…. No apology, completely dismissed anything that I was saying, never came back with silverware , sure the meal was taken off the bill, I didn’t actually need an apology but her pretending to listen would’ve been less than absolutely rude. Disappointed to say the least!

  Went there to celebrate our son buying a house. Very clean restaurant. Everything we had was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I now believe this is the best steak restaurant around. Only steak restaurant I've been to that actually plates a 8oz steak. Other restaurant say 8oz after you have a 8oz from here you will know exactly what I'm talking about! Fried pickles and peppers were great! Best Old Fashioned around. Mark was our server. He was very polite, easy to conversate with. Was on the ball, our drinks were never empty and we left full. Restaurant gets 5 stars Mark, Mark gets 10 stars.... great job Mark! After reading other reviews I have one more thing to say..... I honestly do not know how this place can get less than 4 stars. Don't read into the nonsense and just go there and see for yourself, you won't regret it.

  The best place we have been in awhile!! Our waitress was OFF THE HOOK!! SHE WAS FANTASTIC!!! AKA STACIE!!! The food was SUPERB!! Got the prime rib (PERFECT), and appetizer (AWESOME), SHE made our "first time" experience THE BEST!!! Might...SEEM...expensive at first, but what you get for the money in Northern Indiana is BETTER THAN MOST!!! With multiple alcohole drinks, deluxe appetizer, and 2 of the biggest prime rib cuts you could buy, the bills was only roughly $285! And that was with a $50 tip for the AWESOME WAITREES WE HAD!!!!!! Would DEFINITELY recommend Saltgrass!!! Food was PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!

  My husband and I went to Saltgrass for a nice meal. We saw raving reviews, and decided to go for it. And let me tell yall!!!! It was so worth it. We reserved a table online, and headed out. We were immediately seated, and treated!! I have severe anxiety. But, I was pleased to see our server, Alyssa, was absolutely amazing!! It was incredibly busy, but that seemed to have NO EFFECT on anyone who worked there. Every single employee was kind, and when our server was busy, another server was coming around to drop off food, or check if we needed sauces. They team work on Friday night was amazing. The food and drinks are a little pricey, but very worth it. Steaks were done to perfection, and drinks were delicious!! I would definitely take my friends and family here again.

  Server was awesome, pretty good food only problem we had is my son's steak was ordered medium and it came back moving. So rare we actually sent it back. It came back approximately 10 minutes, and the cook actually brought it out. I was impressed because I have never had the cook come to my table before. So he cut into it in front of her per her request so he does and guess what I dont think she even turned the stove on to reheat it. I actually think it reversed cooked itself and became more rare! How does this even happen! Lol so now the chef said it looks medium to me. I had to show her mine was caked perfect and I ordered mine medium as well. Be she took it back mumbling something. Well needless to say it was cooked more. But was medium well.at best. But by then we said box it up.and cook it at home. The remaining 5 of us was finished eating and share our food. So all.and all I would go again because everything else was good. And that's our 2026 valentines day
