Portillos in the Chicago suburbs is a staple fast food for me, but the Mishawaka location is not consistently hitting it out of the park unfortunately. Sometimes sandwiches are soggy and sometimes dry when ordered completely the same. Sometimes fries seem over or under cooked. It's good fast food when prepared right, so hopefully Mishawaka can dial it in!

The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was fantastic. We enjoyed having the Chicago dog, fries, onion rings...we saved the chocolate cake until later...WORTH IT! It was so very good.

Not a big fountain pop fan, but I'll drink them here. They have kiosk or counter service and either way it's very quick and easy. I work in the Mishawaka/ S. Bend area alot and usually will enjoy Portillo's once a week.
